GO Wellington refunds adult 10 ride tickets

Monday, 10 November 2008 - 12:55pm

From 1 December, adult 10 trip tickets will no longer be accepted on GO Wellington buses.

“In July we communicated with our adult customers that 10 trip tickets were being phased out,” says Zane Fulljames, General Manager Southern Region, NZ Bus. “This gave passengers a five month window in which to use any value remaining on their 10 trip tickets.”

Customers with value remaining on their 10 trip ticket can have this outstanding value refunded to them. Refund forms are available at www.gowellingtonbus.co.nz, through GO Wellington ticket agents or on board GO Wellington buses.

“Moving forward, adult customers can continue to choose the way they pay for their bus fare. They can pay cash, or receive 25 per cent off the cash price of a single adult fare by paying by Snapper*, or they can use one of the many passes that are available for bus travel.”

There is no change to the child or senior 10 trip ticket or monthly pass (Gold Pass, Bus King or Platinum Pass) at this time.

“Refunds will be available on adult 10 trip tickets until the end of May 2009,” says Mr Fulljames.
