From 1 April pensioner bus permits are no longer accepted.

The introduction of free travel for SuperGold* card holders (on off-peak Metlink services from 1 October
2008) has replaced the pensioner scheme.

Pensioner bus permits are no longer being issued by Wellington City Council, so they can no longer be used for discounted travel on GO Wellington buses. Pensioner ten trip tickets won’t be accepted on GO Wellington buses. If you have any remaining value on your ten trip ticket, we will refund it – simply complete the refund form and return it to us along with your ticket.

Refunds are available until 30 September 2009.

If you are not a SuperGold card holder you could pay by Snapper and receive a discount off the full adult
fare, or purchase a Daytripper pass that allows unlimited travel on GO Wellington services. If you travel regularly, a monthly pass may suit you.

*SuperGold card holders travel free between 9am and 3pm, then after 6.30pm weekdays and all day weekends and public holidays. For information about SuperGold please call 0800 25 45 65 or visit www.supergold.govt.nz

For any other enquiries, please contact Metlink on 0800 801 700 or visit www.metlink.org.nz
