Go Wellington bus services resume Friday, 26 September
GO Wellington and the Tramways and M&C unions are returning to the negotiating table on Friday, 26 September.
“The notice of strike action has been withdrawn, and as a result it is no longer necessary to suspend our services,” says Bruce Kenyon, GM GO Wellington. ”We now have the certainty we need to operate our services safely and reliably for our customers.”
As a result, all GO Wellington bus services will return to normal from 5.30am Friday, 26 September.
“We are delighted to return to the negotiating table, as we believe this is the appropriate place to resolve this issue,” says Mr Kenyon.
Mr Kenyon concludes, “GO Wellington again apologises to its customers and we assure you that we are determined to secure an agreement which meets the needs of both our customers and our people.”
